Homecoming Summit: Learn, Connect, Celebrate

This fall, we will gather for a joyful milestone: the Homecoming Summit, a weekend-long event to celebrate 25 years of Teach For America in Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana.

On October 3–4, we’ll welcome 300 alumni, corps members, and partners to the Rubenstein Forum at the University of Chicago for a warm, inspiring convening that brings together our network to reflect, learn, connect and celebrate everything we’ve built together over the past quarter century.

The Homecoming Summit will be the capstone of our anniversary year, offering a vibrant mix of professional learning, wellness, storytelling, and community. We’ll kick off on Friday evening with a celebratory reception and continue on Saturday with a full day of panels, workshops, plenary sessions, and activations, all designed to recharge and reconnect the people at the heart of our mission.

Guided by the theme Past, Present, Promise, the Homecoming Summit is a space to gather with familiar faces and new friends, to explore critical issues in education, and to renew our shared commitment to educational excellence. From wellness sessions to networking opportunities, the summit blends purpose and joy, centering those who show up every day to make a difference.

The atmosphere will be uplifting, welcoming, and energizing. Whether you’ve just finished your corps commitment or have been part of our movement for decades, you’ll be surrounded by people who see and celebrate you and by a network ready to grow stronger together.

Our Homecoming Summit is more than an event, it’s a reflection of everything we’ve learned, the community we’ve built, and the future we’re shaping. It is the embodiment of our 25-year legacy of collective impact and our invitation to dream even bigger for what’s ahead.

We hope you’ll join us for this one-of-a-kind celebration. Let’s reconnect, recharge, and recommit—together. Registration opens on July 1, 2025.

Here’s to 25 years of impact and a homecoming that marks the beginning of what’s still to come.
