From elected positions to honors by respected organizations, these leaders exemplify the spirit of transformational change that defines our network.
Jacqueline San Diego (Greater Chicago– ‘18)
Elected to Zion Elementary School District 6 Board
We are thrilled to congratulate Jacqueline San Diego on her recent election to the Zion Elementary School Board, District 6. Jacqueline has previously been named ISBE Special Education Teacher of the year, making her a standout candidate. Her new role offers exciting opportunities to directly influence educational policy and student success in the district. Her election is a testament to the power of grassroots advocacy and the impact of leaders who truly reflect and understand the communities they serve.
Dr. Quiana McNeal (Greater Chicago–Northwest Indiana ‘12)
Appointed Principal of Evanston Township High School
Congratulations to Dr. Quiana McNeal, who has been named the new Principal of Evanston Township High School (ETHS). Dr. McNeal has served ETHS since 2014 in various leadership positions, including Associate Principal of Student Services and Director of Student Supports. Her appointment is grounded in years of building meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families and a strong commitment to educational equity. ETHS Superintendent Dr. Marcus Campbell noted that her “strategic thinking, collaborative leadership, and student-centered approach” made her the clear choice to lead the school.
Taylor Beale King (Oklahoma ‘12) & Teirra Scott (Greater Chicago–Northwest Indiana ‘15)
Honored by the Chicago Urban League Metroboard
The Chicago Urban League Metroboard recently unveiled their “2025 Young and Ambitious Honorees,” and we are proud to celebrate Taylor Beale King and Teirra Scott among the distinguished group.
