Chicago students dive into blockchain technology at hands-on camp

[FOX32] At an innovative tech camp, Chicago students are learning how blockchain works and how it supports cryptocurrency.

Teach For America and Ripple kicked off the Blockchain Bootcamp Series this week at CICS Longwood High School, where 100 high school students explored the technology behind cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and digital assets—and even built their own solutions.

The event was a huge success, with students collaborating, pitching ideas, and gaining real-world tech and financial literacy skills. We were also excited to welcome FOX32 Chicago, who joined us to see this future-ready learning in action.

This is just the beginning as the bootcamp series continues in cities across the country.
