Ways to Get Involved at Teach For America’s 35th Anniversary Summit

Make the Most of Your Summit Experience

The 35th Anniversary Summit is designed to bring together alumni from every generation, sector, and region of the Teach For America network. Beyond attending sessions, consider how you can actively contribute, even if cost is a barrier:

We hope you'll join us in Las Vegas, October 2-3, and play an active role in this once-in-a-generation gathering of the Teach For America community.

Apply to Present a TFA Talk

Have an idea worth sharing? Alumni are invited to apply to lead a TFA Talk—a 10-minute, TED-style presentation featured throughout the Summit.

Selected speakers will share insights, experiences, and innovative ideas across a range of topics, including education, health, policy, entrepreneurship, leadership, and community impact.

To apply, you'll submit:

  • A brief description of your talk idea

  • A short professional bio

  • An explanation of how your talk aligns with at least two of Teach For America's core values

  • A short audio or video sample

Final selections will prioritize compelling content and diverse representation across backgrounds, regions, industries, and alumni experiences.

If you've learned something worth sharing, built something impactful, or have a perspective that can inspire others, we encourage you to apply.

Showcase Your Organization as an Exhibitor

The Summit will bring together thousands of educators, leaders, and changemakers from across the country, creating a unique opportunity to connect directly with Teach For America's national network.

Organizations, businesses, schools, nonprofits, and community partners are invited to apply for exhibitor space at the Summit.

The exhibitor experience is designed to help organizations:

  • Build meaningful connections with attendees

  • Share innovative products, services, and opportunities

  • Recruit talent and build partnerships

  • Increase visibility among a highly engaged audience

How the Exhibitor Application Process Works

  1. Complete the online exhibitor application.

  2. Provide information about your organization, including:

    • Organization details

    • Primary and billing contacts

    • Description of your offerings

    • Alignment with Teach For America's mission

  3. Applications will be reviewed by the Summit team.

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Apply for Financial Support

We want the Greater Chicago–Northwest Indiana community to be part of this milestone celebration.

To help reduce financial barriers, our region has a limited number of Summit financial support packages available for alumni who currently live in the Greater Chicago–NWI region.

Approved applicants will receive:

  • Summit registration for just $50

  • A complimentary two-night hotel stay*

*Flights are not included. Attendees are responsible for booking their own travel. To activate the hotel reservation, attendees must provide proof of travel booking.

How the Financial Support Process Works

  1. Complete the national financial support application.

  2. Applications are reviewed holistically on a rolling basis by our regional team.

  3. You will receive an update within two weeks.

  4. If approved, you will receive a unique registration promo code.

Financial need is a key consideration in our review process, and we aim to support alumni for whom cost is a meaningful barrier to attendance.

While we are proud to have more than 3,500 corps members and alumni advancing impactful work across the Greater Chicago–Northwest Indiana region, we have only 125 financial support units available. As a result, not all applicants will receive support.

If attending the Summit would be meaningful but cost is a barrier, we encourage you to apply.

Questions about regional financial support can be directed to Diana Diaz at diana.diaz@teachforamerica.org.
