Nontraditonal careers are those that have less than 25% of any gender in the career pathway. Breaking stereotypes and biases within CTE career pathways encourages more students to follow their dreams regardless of their gender, race, religion, or socioeconomic status. Educators will learn strategies to break the myths of gender roles as they relate to careers and gender bias, as well as receive access to resources to promote career exploration as young as elementary school.
