Already Certified Corps Members
The states of Illinois and Indiana have full reciprocity for out-of-state teaching licenses. If you’re already certified in another state or going to be certified by the start of the 2023-2024 school year we will work with you to transfer your license to IL or IN.
You will not be required to enroll in one of our region’s University Partners because you already have your full teaching license but you are still able to join the Master of Arts in Teaching Program if you’d like and still receive discounted TFA tuition. Review the Indiana Department of Education Out-of-State Transfer Website and this Step-by-Step guide.
In addition to submitting your out-of-state license and degree-conferred transcript(s), you’ll need to complete an IDOE approved CPR Course and Suicide Prevention Course.
