Illinois Content Exams
Content exams are subject specific exams that must be passed in order to be entitled for your license.
All Illinois corps members must take a State specific content exam (exceptions apply if you are transferring your license from out of state). Illinois Content Exams must be passed by July 14th, 2024. Click the link below for your corresponding Certification Area to access study materials for your subject’s Illinois content exam(s).
Teach For America will cover the costs of the exams by providing you with a voucher to use. We expect that you give considerable effort in preparing for the exam so these funds do not go to waste.
